How much of the training do I have to attend?

You will be expected to attend a minimum of 50% of all classroom and field training sessions in order to qualify for advancement to the next level (e.g. - first year trainee to second year, second year trainee to regular member).

There is a lot to learn when becoming a high school football official. The officiating crew is actually the third team on the field and everyone must work together to ensure that the best outcome possible is achieved. Attendance at training sessions is vital, and it is the only way to gain the knowledge necessary to understand the responsibilities of the on-field position you are working as well as the responsibilities of the other positions on the field.
